A conservative youtube?
http://time-blog.com/swampland/

Two enterprising GOP staffers have come up with a conservative "alternative to YouTube," since, you know, it's YouTube's fault George Allen is a boob. They tell the that WT's Eric Pfeiffer, "We saw a need for a social-networking site for the center-right...They want something that isn't controlled by our good friends at Google." And here I thought you had to be in power to be paranoid. While I think this makes about as much sense as setting up a conservative "alternative to the internet" because DailyKos exists, I doubt if we've seen the last of this kind of fake technological solution to ideological issues. Next on the agenda: Conservative alternative to "the atmosphere" for those who believe global warming is a hoax!

If you are sick and tired of those fucking liberals actually being right all the time, then check us out. You don't have to know anything just believe shit, cause not knowing stuff is what being a conservative is all about.

Yeah, I check with google first thing in the morning to get my daily dose of liberal talking points.

10. It's not about "not knowing stuff" for these guys.
It's knowing that facts are out there - and choosing to remain unacquainted with them. Deliberately ignorant as it were.

5. The problem with these guys is not everybody thinks rightwing; they can't tolerate that
And a large number of people in the middle are agnostic at any rate, but they usually catch on to the bullshit politicians try to sell them sooner or later, even if they were late in reaching the conclusions rank-and-file leftists reached a while back.

9. There's no need to sabotage, it's lame as all hell already:

http://qubetv.tv/

Go look at it. Site looks terrible, and if you go to the video section, pretty much all the videos are politically oriented things with talking head news people or wingnut politicians or wingnut "media personalities" like Michelle Malkin. Fun for the whole family! :eyes:

Since the site is defined around having an ideological bias, it follows that all people are going to post there are political/ideological type videos, and not all the other random wonderfulness that's on Youtube, why would they when it will have 1 billionth the viewership on QubeTV that it would on Youtube?

I really wonder sometimes if people like Richard Mellon Scaife are just throwing money around to folks like the QubeTV founders where they get automatic money whether or not the site makes any money or not. It certainly seems like the QubeTV founders have put very little effort into their site.

Even if the site were created in order to have a vehicle to float the critical "attack video" against Obama or whoever at just the critical moment of the campaign, Youtube would be a much better vehicle for this since so many more people would see it.
