How Many are filling out and returning their Census? |
|
Since you have to be a donor to post a poll and I can't afford to donate, I can't post a poll, but I was wondering how many will fill out and return their census form.

2. I'm sure we will at my house... |
|
...but we haven't yet. The bag they dropped off is hanging on the back of a kitchen chair (it's been there for a couple of weeks, at least...).

12. A warning for lurking teabaggers |
|
The Census is nothing more than a communist, socialist, fascist Obama plot to steal your personal information and turn it over to the IRS, FBI, and BBB. Teabaggers, beware: Do not fill out the Census!

13. It's a big problem down here in Texas |
|
Red counties have large non-compliance rates. Which of course creates a virtuous circle of the FILTHY OTHERS the teabaggers are mad about getting more than their share of Fed funding.
I was always surprised that Texas was one of those states that receives less from the Fed than it submits. Maybe this is one of the reasons why.

Absurdly easy. And the notion that it gives our Democratic Gummint Growing Socialists too much information is ridiculous.

In 72 years, some great-niece or nephew of mine interested in geneaology will know we existed and that we were living in Missouri. Old census records are the #1 thing that's helped my family history search; I am grateful that my ancestors weren't too paranoid of the government to talk to enumerators...though some of said enumerators sure could've been a little more consistent with their spelling!
