Help Me Out Here... What Are The Job Prospects IF .... |
|
... the Job Applicant in today's job market insists upon limiting his search as follows:
* Won't work for an employer which deceives and/or takes advantage of its customers/clients; * Won't work for an employer which damages the environment; * Won't work for an employer which discriminates against women and/or minorities;
Just how many potential employers have been eliminated from the pool of available employers?
Maybe state it in a percentage?
Thanks!

3. Self-employment is the only option, unless you are a prick like me |

Even I screw myself over for shits and giggles occasionally, just to exercise my power

6. All that has been established is a 'moral floor' the Job Applicant won't sink beneath... |
|
... and shouldn't you be able to secure a job in today's job market without surrendering your basic morality?

I will be graduating in December of this year with my first Bachelors degree and from seeing what's out there it looks bleak at the very least. College Humor had a little video about a year ago on their site called "Adopt-A-Graduate" or something. It was pretty fitting for my situation.

11. I was thinking a 50% reduction in available jobs, but maybe I am too optimistic... |

It would seem reasonable to tell young people that all of these are important.
We should not have to sell our souls to make a living.
