The sad and ugly side of homophobia

As many of you remember, Oklahoma Congresswoman Sally Kern made a completely tasteless and bigoted statement (especially considering which state she represents and its tragic past) a couple years ago claiming that homosexuality is worse than terrorism. This is nothing new to many of you, but I troll Topix occasionally and found what was essentially a massive "God hates fags" hate-orgy. Again, this is nothing new, but it just reminded me how incredibly sad it is that so many self-proclaimed followers of Christ are so bigoted.
