Lt. Col. Terry Lakin, an Army physician, has refused to obey any orders from his commanding officers -- including President Obama -- until Obama produces his birth certificate.

"Any reasonable person looking critically at the evidence currently in the public domain would have questions about President Obama's claim to be a natural born citizen," Lakin says in the below video released the right-wing American Patriot Foundation. "I will disobey my orders to deploy because I, and I believe all servicemen and women and the American people, deserve the truth about President Obama's constitutional eligibility to the office of the presidency and the commander in chief."

Lakin says this marks the first time during his 18 years in the Army that he has chosen to disobey "what I believe are illegal orders." Evidently he didn't feel the need to personally verify the citizenship of his three previous commanders-in-chief.

I was in a unit in the 82nd Airborne Division that tried to give me an Article 15 (nonjudicial punishment) saying I flipped the bird during the National Anthem at a unit payday ceremony.

Actually I was hung over from partying the night before and just hanging in during the only thing we as a unit were dong in uniform that day.

They were going after me for being the most flamingly outspoken liberal in the unit and were going to give me many A15s and then kick me as unable to adapt to military life.

I took grave insult to the charge and took it a Special Court Martial where it was dismissed on the grounds the prosecution failed to prove a Prima Facie case, in that the First Sergeant testified that I was saluting properly prior to and subsequent to the alleged incident.

Just because I am left wing, I am no one who disrespects the flag, especially in uniform. So, I know well Articles 89 and 90, the two I was charged with.

I went to a new unit in a new battalion and made sergeant E-5 two years and three months after induction into the Army as an E-1, and became a helicopter crew chief, so I fully believe in having courage and standing up to the brass.

However, this guy is just an idiot with zero grounds to stand on. He's toast.

My g-g-grandfather was a Union officer during the Civil War. His memoirs lists an incident that happened just outside Washington DC. The troops were mustered together into one large army just outside of DC. The many brigades were from several different states. My g-g-grandfather was in a volunteer brigade from Indiana, but they were next to a draftee brigade from New York. The NY brigade had no commander. A general rode up to the NY brigade and offered any man a colonel's rank if he would lead the brigade. A man in the rear shouted out "You can make us come, but you can't make us fight!". The general rode his horse around to the rear of the brigade and demanded to know who said it. When he discovered the man's identity, he ran him through on the spot with his sword.

In Vietnam they used to throw people from helicopters screaming to their deaths. I kinda like that idea. Once the word gets out, it will put a screeching halt to that shit, just like it did with the NY brigade next to my g-g-grandfather's.
