1. Prediction: The report WILL be good and DUers will still be unhappy. |
|
"Unhappy" is our default behavior, after all.

It will make me optimistic about my chances for getting a job.

12. I'll be happy if some more people have gone back to work |
|
but things are going to have to get a whole lot better before my husband and I have much hope of hanging on. And that's just how it is for us and a still very large number of us out here.

You knew with 100% certainty that your so-called 'prediction' would be accurate.

15. Okay then - BOLDER PREDICTION! |
|
Next month - there will be job growth; a small, positive change in the unemployment %; and DUers will be unhappy.
Compare your ability to perceive the future to mine and then kill yourself! :bounce:

8. Other (as we already see above) |
|
Edited on Thu Apr-01-10 03:17 PM by dmallind
Nothing other than <4% unemployment will ever be accepted as good news by a large contingent here. There is no acceptance of anything that can possibly be labeled an improvement that isn't ideal. Gaining 100K jobs will be bad because we need 8 million. Losing 100K jobs will be bad because we need 8 million. It seems way too many people cannot distinguish between the two as worse or better news.

9. I should have included Other as an option |

Too late to change it now, unfortunately.
