I wish the stuff was 20 bucks a gallon |
|
I am sick and damn tired of chocking on exhaust fumes when I ride my bike to and from work.
Maybe if people had to pay real money they'd think a little harder about their transportation choices.
If you've read this far and can't figure out that this is a rather lame April Fool's choke then you're a bit dense.
Happy Day Anyway!

America is very large and a lot of us have to commute to work. i am happy to be commuting to work again. i did get a fuel efficient vehicle. but artificially high energy prices would decimate my area. and yours, as well.
the best solution is to make energy independence a top priority, end the wars, and devote that money to research and universal health care.
however, i see no political party currently promoting that solution.

when you consider the cost of extracting, transporting, delivering it then dealing with the millions of pounds of it pumped into the air. I think a lot of govt. help, taxes we pay in other ways & payments we'll be making in the future are what keep the numbers on the gas stations signs reasonable enough to keep the average person depending on it.
