Bush's "mistake" was such a bad one that he says it would
be a mistake to correct his mistake. That's what he said today.... When have you ever heard anyone use this argument???? Only a small child could come up with this kind of non-logic, a small child or an idiot, and they, Like Bush, would say it with a straight face.

Soooo, let's see where this leads.... let the guy who made the initial "mistake" keep making it because if we stop him from continuing to make this "mistake", it would be a disasterous mistake.

Have I got this right?

3. Wow. That is PERFECT. Send that puppy on to every Dem candidate to use.
I'm not kidding at all. That is the whole argument in a nutshell. "I fucked up so badly that it would be a fuck up not to let me keep fucking it all up." It doesn't get any more succinct than this.

4. We live in Bizarro World. Truly.
And what's really weird and scary, is that there are still people who think he's the second comming.

5. oh hell, just give him the money and stfu
Non-GOPers are supposed to go over and sit down in the corner and be quiet for the next two years.

That is Bush's plan and he is sticking with it.

6. Yet another classic case of pResidential pretzel logic.
I was gonna post one of these sorts of theories he puts forth, labeled as such, every week but I feared my brain would ultimately explode if I did so.

Not a whole lot other than nonsensical illogic, absolute deceit, and unbelievable total shadow projection has come out of his mouth for years.

"Terror, terror, terror. . .be afraid, be very afraid."

All militarism is terrorizing for starters. He digresses from there.

Every time I think he can't be any more astonishingly unenlightened, he out does himself.

sheesh.

9. War against terror?
War is terror.

And besides, you can't have a war against a feeling.

15. Nope you truly can't.
Or as Michael Palin quipped. . ."You can't wage a war against an abstract noun."

Furthermore all militarism is terrifying really.

It's nutz.

8. But it was no mistake at all:
it was a premeditated crime, for which Dubya should be prosecuted.

Prosecute Bush, not the War on Iraq!

10. As usual, he has a tough time expressing himself.
He meant to parrot but only succeeded in confusing the issue; quelle surprise.

13. " Victory means exit strategy, and it’s important for the president to explain to us what the
exit strategy is.” (4/9/99)

"I think it’s also important for the president to lay out a timetable as to how long they will be involved and when they will be withdrawn.” (6/5/99)

“It doesn’t make any sense to have a timetable. You know, if you give a timetable, you’re — you’re conceding too much to the enemy.” (6/24/05)

14. It's blackmail
It started with the idea that even though it was wrong to start the war, somehow it was now right to stay. It's never been right to stay. We cannot possibly stay long enough to rectify the original "mistake". You didn't support it, but now you have to. Bush was never held accountable, but now the Democrats are responsible for the consequences.

Course, this wasn't a mistake. It was a plan. A stupid plan, poorly executed, perhaps. Or maybe getting us stuck over there was the plan....Judging by the embassy and the oil contracts, I'd say stuck was always the plan.
