1. imagine a SC dominated by women
ginsberg is probably going to retire also depending on her health. Obama can appoint another woman to take that.

Scalia is getting old and has weight issues and might involuntarily "step down". and Obama can appoint a women there also.

would still not be a majority at that point but closer to being equal.

don't women live longer also so more time on the bench for those appointees.

7. Plus, he has Thomas' opinions to write
If Roberts or Alito don't take up the slack, they'll have to endure "high tech lynching" inserted into every dissent as he bluffs his way through the rest of his tenure.

8. That's sort of my thinking
Scalia is the most powerful Justice on the bench

No other justice gets two votes

13. She is his daughter.

She is the one who recommended Obama for the summer internship in Chicago where Michelle Robinson was his supervisor.

It was her father's law firm and Prof. Minnow (the daughter) told her father he needed to hire this young man as he was - in all her years of teaching - the smartest student she had ever had.

That remark got my attention when I read it back when Obama first decided to run.

Being the smartest student a Harvard Law Professor had ever had seemed like quite the distinction.

I always remember that when I hear some freeper has said Obama isn't smart enough to make a speech without somebody else writing it and putting it on a teleprompter.

12. Too old.
All of Obama's SCOTUS nominees need to be at least as young as was Clarence Thomas, who was (so many forget) a mere 43 years of age in 1991.

I want our picks tormenting conservatives for generations.
