If they were prosecuted, the RICO laws might apply. They are grifters of the first order. The Travelers are shamed by the Palins' shenanigans. They would make her Queen if she would join them.

Bristol jumped on the abstinance only bandwagon when her actions were patently at odds with the message she preaches. She joined the game.

Willow. From what I've seen there have been no attacks on her, just a statement of her actions. All attacks have been against her mother, and the steps she took to keep her own name being dragged through the mud. Rather stupid in my opinion, RW media would have studiously ignored the whole matter and if Willow did get a comeupance (however minor) would have given Sarah the moral high ground from which to righteously decry any mention of the matter from the left.

Pipper and the boys? I can see the tongue in cheek even if you can't. However, I do fear that Pipper might well decide to follow in the footsteps of both her sisters in order to deliver a big healthy "FUCK YOU MOMMY!" to Sarah.


Whilst the children are being mentioned as examples, the attack here is very directly aimed at their parents and Sarah in particular.

2. And Have We Heard Anything About Willow???

Generally I think a politicians kids are out of bounds...they didn't chose to be born into the circus of the body politic, but that also assumes most candidates will do their best to shelter their children from that limelight and leave them some privacy. However, when said politician uses their children as props...claims to be the "supermom" and attempts to tell us how we should live our private lives then the line has been crossed.

Imagine if Al Gore's son had been involved in the ransacking of a vacant house and had daddy use his political clout to cover it up...the wingnuts would howl endlessly and the corporate media would become fixated. Yet I still haven't seen/heard a major "news" outlet mention about this situation.

Anyone else seen anything????

Sorry, but if her private persona is anywhere close to her public persona I really wonder that they don't act out a hell of a lot more. Look at the example she's giving them. Be a quitter. Lie and do and say outrageous things to get attention. Smear your opponents. Make as much money doing all the above as you can. Take care of the kid while I parade all of you out there so I can talk about family values.

I can't bring myself to trash Sarah's children. They've done nothing millions of kids across the country don't do now or in the past. I actually feel sorry for them. I hope they don't follow in her footsteps for their sakes.

I work with at-risk kids and nine times out of ten whatever trouble they get into is a result of crappy parenting. Many times the parents get so caught up in their own shit that the fail to take notice of their children. I'm guessing that's the case with the Palin kids. They have two parents, neither of which give a damn.
