On this 42nd "anniversary" of Martin's Assassination.....
..let's take a moment out of our Easter celebrations to remember this great man, and how his struggle and his journey made life in America better for all of us!

1. MLK died on my 45th birthday and it was one of the saddest days of my life!!
I will never forget it!!! I heard the news when I left my office to go home to a birthday celebration.

were also a celebration of the meaning of Easter.

Those ideas of doing what a person believes is right, not for oneself, but for a better society, in that spirit of non violence and love. Although not perfect, he is a mostly good man in my view.

political views and actions

many here claim "religion should play no part in politics" and "people should keep their religious beliefs to themselves" and such...

let's thank god the reverend mlk did no such thing
