Sarah Palin. "Can She Save America?" Get your barf bag out.
I just saw this in the supermarket.

This propaganda campaign to enshrine this cheap woman as someone important to the American people really has to be stopped.

Sarah Palin magazine hits newsstands and convenience stores

By Garance Franke-Ruta

One of the things Sarah Palin has sought to do since stepping down from the governor's office in Alaska is seize control of her image. So it is perhaps a sign of how difficult a task that remains for the GOP's former vice presidential nominee that a new single-issue magazine has hit newsstands and convenience stores around the country. It claims to present "Sarah Palin: The Untold Story...in her own words!" -- and it was produced, according to its publisher, without her knowledge or participation.

Retailing for $8.99, the 100-page glossy magazine, titled "Sarah Palin: Faith, Family, Freedom," hit newsstands in mid-January and was jointly published by a fashion-publishing subsidiary of international marketing firm IMG and Imagine That Publishing. It will remain on sale through April 30.

"The genesis of it was really simple," said Steve LeGrice, the publisher and editor of Imagine That. "We're up here in New York, and there was clearly this huge enthusiasm for Sarah Palin, and at the same time all the people in the media world were sitting around scratching their heads" about how people could support her.

"What we decided to do is put out a magazine all in her own words," he said -- a magazine "without any opinion or anything added in."

41. Palin fans don't read much. Here are pics of some pages from the Palin Magazine:
Courtesy of this article: http://www.mediaite.com/online/unauthorized-magazine-reveals-sarah-palin-child-huntress-of-alaska/

She's a cute kid, but then almost all kids are cute...

I can see how this reads as a fluff piece for her wacky supporters.

What's "added in" is the portrayal of Palin as some sort of child of the prairie, someone who can take us back to the good old 19th century!

Cuz, yanno, that 20th century was filled with lots of socialist stuff and big government also too.

5. They claim she knows nothing about it, but I doubt if Sarah would allow
them to make any money on her without a piece of the action. I mean, this woman is for sale to the highest bidder. It would be out of character for her to be so magnanimous when it comes to other people making money on her image.

33. As a public figure, I don't think she has any say.
Her images and speeches are fair use, or owned by the photographer. Sarah would have no say in this type of production.

They cut and pasted together a "publication." First Amendment and all that. They'll display it in the checkout line with the other fan magazines like "Beyonce," and the "Michael Jackson Memorial Issue."

Sarah can be the exploitee too. :)

8. Save America from WHAT?
The ravages of a competent government?
The moral decay of a healthy populace?
The utter evil of responsibility?
The arrogance of correct spelling?

Save? I do not think that word means what they think it means.

26. Well if you think about it
Just months after JFK assassination the country did need saving. The Beatles at least brought a lot of happiness to a lot of people all over the world. They served a purpose, she does not. I thought it looked like Tiger or Teen Beat too. I just wonder how much money she is getting from this. Or does she have to buy them to make it look like they sold out.

Joe the Plumber, Sarah Palin... the pinheads they foist on us are getting progressively more stupid. One day they'll land an incontinent baboon in the White House and it'll be heralded as the first true-blue salt-of-the-earth citizen president.

Palin will disappear as her babehood fades with age. It's what's happening to Ann Coulter right now. Family Values America won't follow a woman they can't fantasize in a negligee.

This is just another way for her to continue teabagging. She knows a group of suckers when she sees one and this is just another way to put more cash in her pockets -- she is fleecing the flock -- or more aptly put -- she is teabagging all these poor misguided rubes.

of a female version of Gaius Baltar, when he becomes a religious leader heading a cult that worships the Cylon God. She has all the narcissistic traits of Baltar, who does everything for his own benefit, except in the series Baltar is supposed to be a genuis with a doctorate and that definitely is not Sarah.
