Just Think for a Moment....
As us on the Left sit here, we are still full of hope. Everyday we hope America progresses forward and that we can make society a better place to live for all. We see the jobs reports numbers and although we still have a long way to go, we are still filled with hope for America. Just think..... Right now the RW'ers are hoping the jobs report for next month isn't good, they hope the HC bill fails, they hope America continues down a path of unsustainable chaos. They secretly hope the nation becomes divided and angry all in their attempt at a power-shift and to discredit this historic presidency. THEY actually want America to fail. Now I hated Bush as much as the next Lefty (probably more), I protested his policies numerous times, but no matter how much I disliked Bush I never once wanted America to fail, and never ever was I spiteful enough to wish suffering or economic instability on our citizens in the hopes of a power-shift. That's the difference between US and THEM. They are anti-American, anti-Govt types, WE just always fought for more democracy IN our democracy. Its US on the Left that truly love America for its good, its bad, and its ugly. They hate everything else about America unless it serves their own self-interests. Never in my life would I think I would live to see the day that American citizens are secretly, and sometimes openly 'praying' for America to fail, just so they can mutter the words 'I told you so'. WE=Hope. THEY=Fear.

1. I dunno. We have our own cheer section for when the dow goes down.

There is a certain element among us who wants to see the whole thing come crashing down.

2. There are times when I think that it needs to all come down.
But I also choose to think that people can make a difference and people are mostly good.

It actually takes much thought and feeling for me not think in nihilistic terms.

By all rights, there is much stuff that should end, but to want hardship on others is not a good way to live, so by justice, yea, things might have to come down, but by compassion and choice of life, I think people will get it right.

Then there is other funny things, like how I consider myself still owed from over a decade ago, yet any action to rectify that would go against what I think is better. LOL, then the people say that not having wealth is proof that I must be wrong.

It is like someone taking your money, then claiming they must be right or they would not have that money. Then the person stolen from refuses to beat them to a pulp, so they again say they must be in the right. There are actual people that think if they can get away with wrong, it actually proves it is right. No morality or thoughts of right and wrong, just if you can do it and get away with it is ok. So it is hard sometimes to stay in the better place, but it is much more peaceful to laugh about it and hope they find something good in life also.
