Once again Edwards is taking the fight to the people with this ad he is running encouraging people to contact Congress and tell their representatives not to give in to this president. Keep sending the president bills with a requirement that he redeploy the troops home.

I support Edwards and think he is right to do this.

However, I would love to see ALL the Democratic Candidates acting unanimously together in making a broad case to the people. We need to join together and affirm what we as Democrats believe --that this war in Iraq should end and we need to bring our troops home.

1. Congress needs to override the veto. Edwards co-sponsored IWR when in Congress.
Lantos just said to Charlie Rose - they will override the veto.
talk is cheap, John. When you had the vote, you gave it to Bush. When you had my vote, you didn't fight for it and still stay silent.

4. He's running a smear campaign against Democrats fighting for us in Congress.
He knows what he is "advocating" is not politically feasible. It's cynical, pathetic, and a cheap shot by Edwards. He knew the American people were being lied to when he voted for the war, and he lied about knowing. He knows that this new ad is nothing but a cheap political ploy for the Edwards campaign, and he's lying about that as well.

Pathetic.

What are the things that he says are holding him back from declaring? Who is Clark beholden to?

7. So Clarkie1, you hate Edwards because he is against the war?? My word...
You have some serious logic problems.

Your obsession with being anti-Edwards appears to have infiltrated your avowed desire to oppose this war, and therefore you cannot admit that Edwards is right to oppose this war.

8. Edwards is dead right on this. Those who can't see that have another agenda.
An agenda that blinds them to what is right and true. It's pathetic - and disgusting.

6. The bill congress sent to Bush supported another 18 months of occupation.
plus leave some US troops there indefinitely.
ignore the veto, and refuse any more funding for the war.
