That marine that warned Americans not to EVER resist... he was right.
They would slaughter any resistance like ants.

But not because they "run 5 miles a day" and "know how to fight for a living". Nor is it because we regular folks are "soft".

Nope. It is because they can shoot people like cowards from the air while safely out of range or behind a TV monitor.

Hand to hand? It would be LOTS closer than he thinks. Strike that. It would be easy considering the numbers.

Don't fool yourself, Sarge. 200 years ago, the people of Western Mass knew when to stand up, march on the county courts and tell them they weren't going to arrest any farmers for not paying their taxes on time.

THAT'S America, mo-fo. Read your history.

1. Seems to me you're intentionally misinterpreting his point.
And throwing some blanket statements in their for effect.

3. Bullshit. How do you figure?
What was his...umm.. point? It wasn't complicated.

5. His point was that teabaggers would get their asses kicked if they started something.
He's right, just like they got their asses kicked 150 years ago.

And you're trying to apply this wikileaks business to the perfectly decent marine who wrote the piece, that's bordering on slanderous.

Oh, and then there's the notion that combat is supposed to be even and gentlemanly. Conventional wisdom is that's the sort of attitude certain British officers had in WWI when they order their men to proudly march into machine gun fire like good sports.

8. No. His point was ANY resistance would get their ass kicked.
Because civilians are soft. It was a warning to anyone that would resist. Not just teabaggers.

You know, the ones actually calling for armed insurrection.

15. True, but it is YOU that is intentionally missing the bigger point.
Get your head out of the sand, ostrich-man.

2. He was wrong

Shooting brown people in a foreign land is one thing. Shooting white people down the street from your high school is another. These trained soldiers--these killing machines--may be misguided by many means, but they are not robots.

If the powers that be in America think they can turn their guns upon the country, I think they are fooling themselves. Just a few incidences will be all it takes...

4. Think Xe, also think brown people from almost anywhere else.
A few dollars and hot meals and showers...
No problem shooting white people around your High School. Don't kid yourself.

7. I should hope not.
But you know, the Christian thing could tip the scale though. Isn't Blackwater/Xe from some religious whacko?

Mercs seem to change my thought on it a bit.

6. I agree with you. Armed forces recruit any illiterate and trigger happy they can get their hands
Edited on Mon Apr-05-10 07:25 PM by conspirator
on. I would also like to see that "brave" marine in Vietnam or any scenario were the odds were even. He would shit his pants as much as any office unfit person, as he called most of us who actually work for a living.
Even if his message was for Teabaggers, you should not address people with kind of arrogance.

9. Let me ask you this "Bonobo"
If a marine from Alabama was given a choice to take out tea baggers in his home state or gay activists in San Francisco, which would he choose?

Think about it and never pray for civil war because both sides of the spectrum will lose greatly.

11. I know the answer to that as well as you do.
I am not praying fo civil war. Just praying for a better nation that takes care of its own and spends money on its citizens, not killing people thousands of miles away who pose no threat to us.

Unfortunately, I am bot a religious man and have little delusions about the future of the US.

13. Well, all I can say is that a lot of ignorant, uneducated, camel fuckers
Have done a pretty good job on the "Best and the brightest and the most tecnologically well equipped" for about eight years now. It's amazing how pissed off people get when you invade their country. When "We the People" are willing to blow themselves up to resist your occupation, I don't think you can win, no matter how good you are at killing them. It's been tried before. It didn't work.
