Chris Matthews just showed video of OUR President
beating Clark Kellogg in a game of P-O-T-U-S.

While he was wearing ugly wing-tipped shoes.

And a tie!

Is there nothing this man cannot do?

2. He needs serious help throwing a baseball on opening day...
He damn near threw the opening pitch into the first row at the Nat's game today.
He's a lefty so I'll give him some slack.

He can sink a 3 pointer so it don't matter.
He's cool with me.

3. Being a lefty shouldn't matter. If he was a righty he probably wouldn't throw well either.
Different motions are needed for different sports. And Obama spent more time in basketball.

19. Oh, I don't know,
Being CinC means that he can turn those troops around and get them out of Afghanistan. Instead, he doubled down on that illegal, immoral war instead, and that was pretty easy, simply making up one's mine and signing a few pieces of paper.

31. "He also promised a public option." Did he really "promise" ?
Perhaps you should rethink that meme? Are you an honest person, or are you a liar?

"When the 2008 Obama called Afghanistan an essential war and vowed to take out terrorist havens in Pakistan, he wasn’t just posturing to prove he was as hawkish as Hillary Clinton — which is what some chose to hear. Though he nominally supported a public option as a plank of health care reform, it was not a high priority and he rarely mentioned it, according to a review of his campaign speeches, interviews and debates by Sam Stein of The Huffington Post. Obama never said anything to suggest that he was interested in economic interventionism as bold as, say, the potential nationalization of failing banks. He was unambiguous in his professed opposition to same-sex marriage and largely silent on gun control. And as Jake Tapper of ABC News chronicled last week, Obama had even opened the door to offshore oil drilling in the weeks before Election Day."

Frank Rich piece:http://www.nytimes.com/2010/04/04/opinion/04rich.html?pagewanted=1

Read the entire piece, it'll shed new light on some things you may have conveniently forgotten.

32. It's Good Enough To Rate As a Broken Promise On Politifact.Com
Edited on Tue Apr-06-10 10:51 AM by Toasterlad
http://politifact.com/truth-o-meter/promises/promise/518/create-public-option-health-plan-new-national-heal/

Of course, THEY look at things objectively, and not through rose-colored Obamaspecks, so I have no doubt that you'll discount their interpretation. A creative person who doesn't care about the spirit of words can find excuses for every one of Obama's broken promises.

And I noticed you didn't even try to defend Obama's abysmal GLBT record (as if anyone could). Looks like you've just chosen to ignore it. Not surprising.

33. I can honestly say that it's not an issue that keeps me up nights.
Marriage, whether straight or gay, doesn't appeal to me personally. If straight marriage were banned tomorrow, it wouldn't mean a hill of beans to me. Likewise, if gay marriage were passed, same thing. Those of us who were actually paying attention knew that this president never EVER supported gay marriage, but let's not quibble about reality.

There are LGBT advocates at DU who use this issue to attack this president on every other issue. I just frankly don't care anymore. See ya! It's time to have my "rose colored Obamaspecks" updated.

34. Nice Of You To Dismiss Equality So Easily.
I suppose you felt as dismissive of the civil rights of African Americans, as well.

Actually, before Obama ran for President, he said he DID support same-sex marriage. But let's not quibble about lying.

Your lack of interest in the rights of others is noted.

You can't criticize the President unless you've been President. I guess the Bushes, Clinton, and Carter are the only ones qualified to disagree with Obama.

16. And your snark is a great cover for idiocy. Want gays to be able to marry?
There's a primary in a few years. I'll support you in that endeavor. Let's see if you can muster more than the 0.5% that Dennis Kucinich got. Don't you think it's finally time for a pro gay marriage candidate to put up, or shut up? Take a risk, announce your candidacy, if you think you can do it better.

If civil rights had been on the ballot we would still have laws today (in some states ) against interracial marriages.

edited for grammar since you like to correct spelling. I'm sure there are still some errors

Apparently, you can't even point out that not supporting equality is the same as bigotry here without having your post deleted. There are far too many people like you who don't give a shit how Obama treats other people as long as he's got that "D" after his name. That is literally ALL you care about.
