Karzai sticks to guns on vote fraud
Afghan President Hamid Karzai says that he stands by his claim that foreign powers orchestrated massive fraud in the elections that returned him to power last year, in comments broadcast Monday...

Washington has said that Karzai's original outburst -- in which he also said that the 126,000 foreign troops in the country to quell a spreading insurgency risked being seen as "invaders" -- was "troubling."

But the president, under pressure for not implementing anti-corruption measures and establishing good governance, said he was merely trying to "clarify" that "Afghanistan is a country that belongs to Afghans."

Washington's trying to get rid of their boy. So *now* he mentions that they paid the freight.
