How about a 25-million troop surge?!?
Edited on Wed May-02-07 11:34 PM by krkaufman
Our military is stretched thin, and I'm having trouble seeing how that is possible given that nearly 28 million people between the ages of 18-44 who voted for Bush in 2004. (link)

121,480,019 voters
17% from 18-29, 45% for Bush (exit poll)
29% from 30-44, 53% for Bush (exit poll)
27,964,700 Bush voters near fighting age

Yet Bush asks for no sacrifice, except from the "volunteer" military and their families.

2. Right! Bonus war tax for those Bush voters too old to serve.
Help them take personal responsibility for their mistake, since they don't seem to be stepping forward on their own.

3. You're right! Our Glorious Leader said we can't lose Iraq, so let's git'r done
A draft assigned by party affiliation, a tax on the wealthy to pay for the mobilization, AND gas rationing. And let's get rid of that pesky 2008 election which will just be a distraction. Let's keep Bush until the war is won. Really, I'm tired of fighting 'em. Let's join them.
