1. No disrespect intended,
but I don't quite understand your OP. What does "NOT TO DIE!" mean?

2. I think it means they didn't go to work with the intention of dying

3. Perhaps...
It just now occurred to me that the OP wants to create a memorial thread that doesn't die.

12. Me too. My husband wanted to be a line worker and I just was not comfortable with that.
He still works at the local power company but his current job is a lot less dangerous then possibly getting electrocuted.
I can't imagine what the families are going through right now.

13. And conservatives would eagerly deny the survivors health care.
Conservatives ALWAYS fight against mine safety and worker safety in every industry. They fight against worker's rights. They fight against people trying to get better wages for the work they perform. WHY are conservatives against human beings? Why do they ALWAYS side with corrupt, soulless corporations over people? Good god they are gullible if they can so easily be manipulated into believing corporations are like gods which will protect them and always do what is right for hard working human beings. There isn't ONE CORPORATION which wouldn't screw a worker if given the chance. ALL they care about is making money off of the hard work of those who are actually producing products. The people at tops of corporations or Wall Street produce NOTHING for society. But they take (steal) almost all the money and give the peasants a few pennies for their hard work.

Let's take back OUR country from these soulless thieves and sociopaths.
