Light explosive on plane
Edited on Wed Apr-07-10 09:32 PM by nadinbrzezinski
they got a Qatari citizen in custory

Flight 663, DC to Denver, bound to Vegas.

Subdued by Federal Marshall

Breaking on MSNBC

Ah link

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/36243847/ns/us_news-airliner_security/

oh and 663 United

Third Secretary and Vice Consul don't ask me to spell the name

But realize this is a MAJOR incident, and very technically could be considered an Act of War.

Most likely he is on the next plane out of the country, and all this will be an interesting dust off

of the airport.

Suspicious passenger from Reagan to Denver...

Just breaking, they don't have much.

30. Off topic ..
I was based at DCA for years, and years, and years (LOVED IT!). When they changed the name from Washington National to Reagan National, I refused to comply in my PA announcements to the passengers.

Because of a complaint by a R/W co-pilot, the chief pilot called me in for a rug dance. But he was a lefty pinko too! We had a gas of a time discussing that one. That's why I was called "Comrade of the Base" in DCA!

Diplomatic incidents always get sticky.

UNLESS they find an explosive, then it really gets sticky. (Act of war)
