At 11PM it is 81° outside (and in). That made me think of the record snows we had just weeks ago. |
|
At the airport, there is still some snow in a large, black, soot covered glacier at the edge of the airport property. It was piled there after nearly five feet feel in two successive storms.
I just turned on the AC because the heat in this house is more than I can bear.
I heard someplace in the Midwest was near 90 a few days ago and had some snow today.
I don't think any of this is anything apart from weather. I sure love Spring.

19. That's the third stage of climate change denial. |
|
1. Climate change is not happening. 2. Climate change is happening, but human activity did not cause it. 3. Climate change is happening and human activity caused it, but it's a good thing!
I think that's the end of the line for the deadheads.

17. Hot in Gaithersburg too |
|
But I refuse to turn on the AC in April. It's just too early, so instead I am sitting here sweating. But it is supposed to get cooler in the next few days. Thunderstorms predicted for Thursday afternoon.

18. I think we'll be in SHOCK, after today/tonite's thunderstorms. |
|
I feel SO LUCKY to have no need for AC now. Did use last year, August/Sept, but was new here (Hagerstown) and hadn't learned to use natural 'cool' of apt. Ceiling fans, too, so no sweat!
Good luck to you!
