At 11PM it is 81° outside (and in). That made me think of the record snows we had just weeks ago.

At the airport, there is still some snow in a large, black, soot covered glacier at the edge of the airport property. It was piled there after nearly five feet feel in two successive storms.

I just turned on the AC because the heat in this house is more than I can bear.

I heard someplace in the Midwest was near 90 a few days ago and had some snow today.

I don't think any of this is anything apart from weather. I sure love Spring.

19. That's the third stage of climate change denial.
1. Climate change is not happening.
2. Climate change is happening, but human activity did not cause it.
3. Climate change is happening and human activity caused it, but it's a good thing!

I think that's the end of the line for the deadheads.

17. Hot in Gaithersburg too
But I refuse to turn on the AC in April. It's just too early, so instead I am sitting here sweating. But it is supposed to get cooler in the next few days. Thunderstorms predicted for Thursday afternoon.

18. I think we'll be in SHOCK, after today/tonite's thunderstorms.
I feel SO LUCKY to have no need for AC now. Did use last year, August/Sept, but was new here (Hagerstown) and hadn't learned to use natural 'cool' of apt. Ceiling fans, too, so no sweat!

Good luck to you!
