Rudy and Ferrets

I'm a ferret owner so when I came in today, my co-worker told me about a rant that Rudy went off on during his call-in radio show when he was the mayor when someone called up wanting him to legalize ferrets in NYC. A quick Google search, and I found the rant as well as the back story, where Rudy compares legalizing ferrets to legalizing tigers. The radio show rant really shows what a dick he can be.

I guess tonight is the first republican candidate debate. I'm thinking how cool it would be if the moderator, Chris Matthews, brought out a pet taxi during the questioning and took a ferret out.

"Mister Giuliani, we'll start with you with this question. This is Jo-Jo, a 2-year-old sable ferret. Would you like to... pet Jo-Jo, Mister Giuliani? No? Would you like to give her a ferret treat? I have several here on my desk. No? Mister Romney, would you like to pet Jo-Jo?" etc.

And suggested the caller needed psychiatric help because of his obsession with weasels.

I think someone needs to show up at his campaign stops while wearing a ferret costume. :)

I can't imagine Giuliani getting elected if the public were to hear one of his ferret rants.

Certain topics make Giuliani completely unhinged. Ferrets is one of them. African-Americans is another. If one of these topics is raised during any debate, the public would turn away in disgust.

I just hope that if the ferret strategy is used, it is used after he gets the nomination. That would be the end of Giuliani.
