11. Good answer, incredibly stupid series of questions
Stephanopolous approached the question three (count 'em!) different ways. While it's good that the President declined to get drawn into the vapidness, the question I have is why in the hell Stephanopolous thought Sarah Palin's thoughtless opinion was worth three questions in the first place.

12. And The Great Unhinged Love Her For It...
The teabaggers represent something they say they don't...Class Warfare. These people resent "elitist" things like education cause it means free thinking and that doesn't jive with the absolutist world they've been conned into believing in. Thus they glam onto "leaders" who are the antithesis of intelligent..."someone you can have a beer with"...as if repealing any intellectual discourse is a virtue and living in a talking point world is a lot easier to deal with. Inversely, they detest President Obama cause he is educated...even worse, an educated black man...a Harvard Law educated black man. You don't get more elitist than than.

While I applaud the President for the well deserved Mooselini smack-down, I expect the corporate media to chase this as their next shiny toy and doing their usual false equivelency game (known as "fair and balanced") that somehow will give Bible Spice's stupid and ignorant views on this subject credibility on the same level as this administration.

17. That's SO unfair! She was born in Sandpoint, only an hour or two drive away from Moscow. Plus,
she got all that foreign policy experience in her years as governor: didn't she meet lots of people from countries like New Mexico back then?

That would have gotten a few laughs.
