Cameras catch first hoodlum charged w/bullying Phoebe Prince coming out of court
What a cold $%^&^^%&....No remorse, no apology, no emotion, totally devoid of a conscience....Most teenagers would be shaken & upset if they got a speeding ticket, this bully was stone cold especially given the nature of the charges...

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/

I couldn't get the direct link, but the segment starts w/Meirdeth Viera, runs about 3:00 minutes...

1. I found it wrenching to see the idyllic village in Ireland she came
from... However, much her parents might have wanted to give her more opportunities, I can't help but think, what if.... This story is going to stick with me for years. I can only hope it disseminates through this country and has some impact on the whole issue of bullying.

7. I'm so sorry Phoebe
that these sadistic cretins even existed in your world.
I am ashamed as an American you were ever exposed to them.
Kicked and recommended for Phoebe.

8. I was a victim of bullying in my grade school days (mid 1980's)
Edited on Fri Apr-09-10 03:50 PM by Hawaii Hiker
but I can't even begin to imagine what Phoebe was subjected to....It was 9 against 1

Her story breaks my heart..

I have absolutely ZERO sympathy for those bastards/thugs & if they're getting threats now, "F" them, and i mean "F" them...When you're 16-17 you are old enough to have a conscience...When you see that you are upsetting someone, a NORMAL teenager would step back & stop..And more mature ones would even offer a hand-shake and an apology....But her tormentors were absolutely relentless to the point where it could be called torture...

May Phoebe Prince rest in peace...

9. less than zero sympathy... if that's possible
I hope Phoebe's death haunts these remorseless punks for the rest of their worthless lives.
May they never have peace in their black hearts.
I hope you, as a victim, have recovered and have healed your scars.

10. Thank you..I actually recovered pretty well from mine
my worst bullying year was 8th. grade, but then by high school things went pretty well...I was never a popular kid, but at least my high school years went by rather smoothly...

I just couldn't get over that one girl's stone old appearance coming out of the courtroom...Most teenagers coming out of a court especially on a case that's going to be very high-profile would be balling & screaming, (hell, many adults would be to) she was emotionless, her face even appeared angry....It was like when you see a hard-core criminal come out of a court, someone use to it, absolutely stone faced...Man, her parents failed on raising her...
