Draft Howard Dean!
Edited on Fri Apr-09-10 02:13 PM by jocapo
Isn't it time to return to Howard Dean's 50 state strategy yet? If we can (Yes We Can!) re-instate it now we might be ready for the 2012 election cycle.

Stupak's retirement, the recent news out of South Dakota that the Dems don't even have a challenger for the upcoming Senate race, and the Huffington Post story about how liberal Dems are funding the Blue Dogs and Conserva-Dems are a reminder of what a great strategy Dean implemented when he was chairman.

(Edited so the post makes more sense!)

11. Maybe he should be feeling a draft.
Send him and Michael Steele off on a round-the-world tour together. ;-)

5. Yep. I never thought the DNC could have a weaker chair than Terry McUseless
Tim Kaine has proven me wrong. It's growing ever more obvious that "Virginia Democrat" is a contradiction in terms.

7. That about sums it up: From bad to barely breathing.
The 50-state strategy got us wins in 2006 and 2008.

6. What makes you think Dean wants to be drafted?
I hope they do try to draft him and Dean tells them to fuck off. He got us the win in 08'. It was his strategy. Then like any other "liberal" he was thrown under the bus.

8. I'm certain that he doesn't
want to be drafted, and if he were he'd decline. But I sure he were still in charge at the DNC!

16. Someone is mightily moved to start/joke/trash Dean-or his activists-afraid of a Dean party?
