Springtime is a beautiful time to become an outdoor activist.
I'm stepping away for awhile and going to do some volunteer work for a local Dem. Attend war protests etc.

We still get crappy weather in the spring, but we also get some nice sunny days. Like today. The sun is just calling me to get outdoors. Time to give my fingertips a rest and turn that energy into some real activism, outdoors.

Marching in a war protest, even if it's in DC is a great example of outdoor activism. Attending a Teaparty counter-protest is another great example of outdoor activism. So is doing volunteer work for a favorite candidate. That'll keep my schedule full.

But more importantly..

DU is one of the most important websites on the net IMO. DU deserves better than to be bombarded with my endless daily rants. That's another reason why I'm taking it outdoors.

Don't worry, I'll tone down my radical views just a tad so I don't embarrass the candidate I volunteer for.;-)

Many thanks to the Admins and Mods that keep this place sane.
Peace and goodbye to the many good people that fill DU.
