Now if you want to have a private conversation...send a private message.

....and you're correct. I didn't know him personally.
But MJ was a "special one" that's for sure!

5. I believe they arrested the *ahem* "good" doctor, but I haven't heard anything since |

Sounded like they had a lot of evidence against him.

9. Who knows, and who cares... |

A super rich has been with a number of strange fetishes etc accidentally/negligently dies under the care of a doctor with less than stellar credentials. Oh well.

Oh well? This man should never practice medicine again. He shouldn't be left out there to possibly end up killing other patients, not even mentioning he already killed one.
Strange fetishes? He was cleared of all that stuff quite a while ago. One accusation was made by a cash-starved dad who drugged his kid with a sedative that makes people pliable to false memory implants. The dad was self-admittedly jealous of his son's friendship with MJ and after forcing a civil settlement went away with his money and never took him to criminal court despite being invited to do so. The second case was made by a borderline schizo who was also a famous celebrity grifter and ended up admitting lying in court. To this day pretty much everyone else who knew him personally absolutely opposes the idea that he was into pedophilia.
I wouldn't call booking 50 concerts in a couple of hours a "hasbeen" either. But aside from the musical stuff he was the biggest humanitarian in recorded history. Bigger than Bill Gates and John Rockefeller. That means a lot more than music IMO.

14. MJ's contribution was bigger than music.. |
|
he broke through a lot of barriers ....
Michael Jackson made culture accept a person of color way before Tiger Woods, way before Oprah Winfrey, way before Barack Obama," said the Rev. Al Sharpton. "Michael did with music what they later did in sports and in politics and in television. And no controversy will erase the historic impact."

13. I heard a blurb a few days ago that the doc was saying MJ killed himself. |
|
That MJ emptied that bottle of whatever it was into the bag/line/whatever, which is why everything was meticulously clean except for the dropped and therefore unknown bottle found on the floor.
That's the doc's defense, IIRC. He's still awaiting an actual trial though.
