Is The New Republic the Joe Lieberman of Magazines?

Anyone know if Lieberman or other centrist Democrats have significant links to The New Republic?

6. TNR is Joe Lieberman running for election

While campaigning Joe kept saying that he is a liberal/progressive, but in all words/deeds acting redder than red. That is how the TNR operates.

I have no idea who buys that magazine anymore.
