All we need to do to pick up seats in the House of Representatives this fall is to
Get Gov. Haley Barbour on the TV 3 times a day.

He has absolutely no awareness of how his insufferable 'I am just a good ole harmless ignorant Southern' schtick grates on people outside the South.

2. Yes I am sure that you are correct and I am not attempting to discredit
our southern liberals that I admire.

4. didn't think you were - but a lot of people think all people living in the south
are Barney Fife wannabees. Far from it. Many in my area do everything they can to dispel that image.

3. He is annoying that is for sure.
I am a New England Yankee but have great respect for those in the South that chose to put up with the ultra conservative idiots that live there. Ugg. I am glad he is not my Gov.

5. And that would gain us ...what? We have a majority of everything now,
more than the Repubs had! and they got through most of what they wanted.

I just don't get what MORE of a majority would gain.

6. I don't think he can help himself...
He's simply telling the truth. Maybe except for the "good" part.

8. Pray tell me what the GOP plans to do about jobs. All they do
is point out the problem.

Cut Taxes???? We tried their age old remedy and they put us
in the ditch.

For Gosh Sakes, someone had better start pinning them down on this.
