Trumka Warns ‘Forces of Hate’ Fanning Flames of Workers’ Economic Anger
http://blog.aflcio.org/2010/04/08/trumka-warns-forces-of-hate-fanning-flames-of-workers-economic-anger/

by Mike Hall, Apr 8, 2010

An economy that seems to work for just a privileged few, 11 million vanished jobs and a bailout for banks and Wall Street—but not working families—is fueling justified anger in workers. Speaking last night at the Institute of Politics at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka told an audience about the “forces of hate” and “radio voices” that are frantically fanning the flames of that justified anger to divide working people.

There are forces in our country that are working hard to convert justifiable anger about an economy that only seems to work for a few of us into racist and homophobic hate and violence directed at our President and heroes like Congressman John Lewis. Most of all, those forces of hate seek to divide working people—to turn our anger against each other.

2. Well, it worked for them during the Civil War.
Worked for them during the Viet Nam War and worked to get the country behind the illegal invasion of Iraq. Yep, it's working again. The oligarchy pulls the strings and the puppets dance.

the guilty party, unite the hatred and propose a solution to release the tension. Sickening...
And this country has been so dumbed down emotions trump intellect and rational thought.

These people are far more dangerous than supposedly communism ever was in the 50's that spirited them up then and far more dangerous IMO than these wars we are chasing after supposedly winning. This is clearly ignorant CF nation...

I have no idea where this is ending, but I have grave misgivings concerning the future of this country if the RW rules again.

I'm seriously wondering if it is time to leave the country if the RW is in again.

I actually know people here that think Sarah Palin would be a great leader and president. All i think is WTF is wrong with these people... the water?
