5. Oh, Alfredo. What have we wrought by not educating our people, |
|
by keeping them stuck in min. wage jobs, 2 per parent in some families, which perpetuates this fallacy ...
How can any answers and any help to the young ones come from a family of people stuck in the bottom rung of the hierarchy of human needs, who are too tired and worn to find and understand a better way, and teach it to the children. Yet, they are being challenged, and valiantly try, to provide a moral and responsible example and to be the main teacher of how to intelligently and legally maneuver through their tricky lives.
This is finding me at a time when I am feeling despondent about the level of complacency and un-challenged ignorance around me, one of the greatest sins we have committed is to allow large groups to become dim-witted.
Until I'm better, I live under a rock.

8. OK then, you just made my night. What, me worry? Not after this. |
|
:sarcasm: But really, you have a good point. And it is accompanied by many statements through the ages of people worrying about the younger generation not measuring up. But I know you are aware that is not what I was saying.

9. Just don't give into dispair. Aging means loss of control |
|
of the world around us. Those ignorant kids raised by absentee parents somehow do just fine.

10. Not sure. He can be rather provocative. This statement on our |

skewed priorities is one of his better offerings.
