MARION COUNTY, Fla. -- A Marion County woman is behind bars after officers say she robbed a discount store, leaving her 2-year-old behind.
Citra police said Shannon Cooper stole nearly $65 worth of products from the Dollar General on US-301. Investigators said, when Cooper was confronted by the store's manager, she ran away and left her son behind. Cooper later got her son back, but left her wallet behind.
Police were able to track her down at her home, where she begged not to be taken back to jail.

9. Faces of meth. LINK: See before and after photos of what meth does to people:
Faces of Meth

If you think it's hard on the looks, do a little research into was is known about what meth does to the human brain or, if you really have a strong stomach, what it does to families.

10. This Dollar General is 5 miles from my house. This is the kind of stuff that happens around here.
Scary isn't it? It would not surprise me at all if this woman is a meth head...there is a lot of that in this area. I moved down here from quiet, picturesque NE Connecticut...imagine the culture shock I went through :wow:. On the flip side, Marion County has some beautiful horse farms, which is why I moved here.
