We have our winning 08 argument if we only have the guts to use it ...... |
|
No matter which if the Master(de)baters, each of them gave us a perfect campaign slogan.
Our nominee need only stand on stage at the first presidential debate, look the Repub in the eye, point to him and say "That man will take away a woman's right to choose. I will not."

6. True, but that won't win elections |

There are too many baby-spurters around who think their only purpose in life IS to drop babies left and right. Case in point: Britney Spears, white-trash Republican.

7. Unfortunately, too many people won't believe it. |

It's a winning issue, in that a substantial majority of the American public agrees with the usual Democratic position (support Roe v. Wade, "safe, legal and rare").
But, sadly, it isn't a winning issue because too many people either won't vote on that issue because they don't believe they'll be affected (anybody with money will still be able to have a choice) or don't believe republicans would really do it (you'll even find posters here who'll argue that).
