What's with the Reagan references all day?
I don't watch CM television.

Who's bringing up Reagan? What comparison are they making?

Or are they just yearning for the "good old days" of an Alzheimer's victim in the White House?

6. REAGAN good - everything else bad.
Times were good under REAGAN.
NOT SO GOOD under Clinton.
REAGAN great communicator.
Clinton great fornicator.
REAGAN took down Soviet Union.
Clinton got down in uncivil union.
Everything good REAGAN.
Everything bad CLINTON.

And so it goes...

:sarcasm:

7. My guess this was a negotiated debate site, the Reagan Library,
to meet three goals. Avoid Bush, invoke the last "popular" Republican president, and re-frame the war in the Middle East in Cold War terms, which Republicans probably all think was a single handed victory for Mr. Reagan.

9. They're trying to distance themselves from Bush.
Because they know full well he's a big loser.

So they're trying to identify with Reagan because they're desperate for leadership, unfortunately for them they're blowing their entire Reagan wad a year and a half before the election.

13. Star Wars Iran-Contra Saving & Loan debacle Reagan is a rethug saint.
He spoke as president, even with Alzheimer's, and was a better public speaker than any of these ninnies on stage. Reagan bored the piss out of me personally.

Yes, Reagan could speak. It's what he actually said that was repugnant.
