I'm proud to be a liberal...
There's nothing shameful about being a proud liberal.
I really don't care what the teabaggers say about liberals... They don't even know what to call themselves half the time.
I am a LIBERAL.

I am very much a liberal and have absolutely no reservations using the word.
I confess that I am also a bit radical.

The 'baggers can't define nazi, socialist,& etc. or they wouldn't use them together & or interchangeably. Unfounded hate really lowers the IQ.

When Obama first became President & was still known as having been 'the most liberal person in the Senate' (while Teddy was still alive!), I told a NYC Councilman-friend of mine that I was 'left of Obama.'
He said, 'How is that possible?'
I laughed & answered, 'You'd be surprised...' ;-)
He'd been my Senator & I was more used to his pragmatic style, I guess.

8. I'm a Liberal because I prefer to think for myself |
|
And in order to do that, it requires an open mind and a curious mind.
If I wanted to be closed minded, arrogant and obtuse, I'd be a teabagger instead.

to demonize and redefine 'liberal' for America.
I understand Limbaugh doesn't speak for America but after years and years of misinformation was never challenged, never challenged where anyone could hear it anyway, it has had an impact.
Now much of America views liberal as synonymous with negative, distasteful, meddling, unrealistic, weak kneed, sissified and worse. This misinformation could be corrected but not with a media like we have.
