Final Days.. we'll have to see "Nutty as a Fruitcake"

McCain.

He is history. A man who once, actually thought.

Now, compromised, marginalized, stripped (by his own volition) of any character and moral compass he might have had (albeit pointing mostly toward the wrong direction).

Standing with a wife - whose face says it all - it says, "This, is a bunch of sad royal bullshit"

Alas, be careful what you wish for - whoever is nuttier than "nuttier than a fruitcake" is on the horizon !!

3. If McCain thought he would be a good President, he should have
ran in 2004. We definitely needed a good President then. He should have at least endorsed Kerry and maybe rad as his VP. Instead he played ball with Bush and the RNC to get his shot in 2008.
He had to hate Bush after what they did to steal the South Carlina primary from him in 2000. He watched Bush and Cheney rob us blind and murder our troops in Iraq to make their people rich. Not much left of what McCain once was.

4. Interesting take on McCain. But I think ultimately he was never anything but a bad pilot
And a loose cannon.

5. Well, there was a time when everyone thought - this is actually
a repuke we could live with IF WE HAVE TO. But, you are probably 100% right. Reading "Game Change" (must read IMHO) - the guy is nothing but a "perceived" powerhouse who has probably winged it all along. And so totally un-engaged...but with a gutsy demonstrative personality, used to be all you needed in DC - but, it's a new world, baby.

Of course, being a bleeding heart, loves the underdog, liberal - it's really kind of sad - his whole demise. It didn't have to be that way. Picking Palin was the end for him.
