Mitt 'Ken Doll' Romney- the next corporate puppet the Republican will try to plant in WH

Mitt KEN DOLL Romney

Mitt 'Ken Doll' Romney - from now on - that is the name you refer to him as - ALWAYS. It sums him up perfectly. He is superficial, self-serving, power-hungry, & the worst of it, he will do ANYTHING to be President. He has NO interest in governing. He WANTS to be the next puppet, & rest assured, he will be. He is a ONE term ABSENTEE governor of MA who spent more time campaigning then actually governing. He would not have won a second term here.

This guy is JUST as dangerous as Bush, in that, he will be a subserviant yes man to every corporate & special interest power that buys him the position. He can't really be called a flip-flopper because he never has ever had a position on anything. His position is whatever will work for him in the moment. Bush, actually, has more of a position on issues then Mitt. Bush, however deranged, however lunatic, believes in his insanity. He is a fanatic with a messiah complex. Mitt is just a walking suit with greasy hair and the utmost cliche of power crazed narcisstic politician.

I have long believed Mitt was being groomed for this nomination. I don't think he can win, but they will certainly try to circumvent the election process and plant him in there anyway. Since when do elections count with Republicans? I have a LOT to say about this man and his policies. He is easily debunked and easily unmasked. It is just that he looks so pretty in his Ken Doll suits for the cameras....what a wholesome velveeta cheese quality he has...FAUX news will love him ever so.

1. I agree.
He's got the slick look and he sounds "presidential". He's still an empty suit, but one that can win like Reagan did.

2. I concur
He's uber slick. He could win. And though it will offend some, he's the Republican version of Edwards.

4. Everytime I see & hear him I can't help but think AntiChrist.
I fear he will be their candidate because of the exact reasons you state, Debbierlus. He is just TOO smooth. Again I believe the 2008 election will end up being decided by women & God knows lots of women are suckers for a good-lookin' guy...especially those who have no brains to differentiate between substance & fluff, & don't bother to educate themselves on REAL issues, but just vote based on looks :silly:(like buying a car based solely on it's COLOR). In that scraggly pack of hob-goblins, he certainly holds the "most handsome" title.

He really does give me the creeps. Is he always that SMOOTH?

6. I figured that out last week when ex-CIA Cofer Black was hired
to be a senior adviser to Romney. I believe the neo-cons have found their new puppet to replace the current puppet.

http://www.newsobserver.com/102/story/568168.html

An executive with North Carolina-based private security contractor Blackwater USA has joined Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney as a senior adviser, the campaign said Thursday.

Cofer Black, who was director of the CIA Counter-terrorism Center at the time of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, has been vice chairman for two years at the firm, which specializes in security and military services. Black also helped shape President Bush's counterterrorism policy after the attacks.

"He has a long and impressive career dedicated to making America safer and more secure in the world," Romney said in a written statement. "Our country faces a new generation of challenges, and Black's experience at the forefront of our nation's counterterrorism efforts will be a tremendous asset."

.... and think of all the money to be made by Blackwater from the eternal wars.

7. I was just thinking the same thing - he is a corporate Barbie Doll
Dumb, handsome, plastic looking. A little smarter than Bush, but still, a corporate puppet.

10. Also another GOP'er trying to out do his father and his failed attempt
to run for president. This guy also has mega $$$ and fooled liberal Mass. He is on a mission and very dangerous to democracy. He also has strong support from the Michigan RW.

13. Its Mormon and the church believes abortion should be legal
Mitt does not follow the church's stance in his politics (the church believes abortion should be legal for health of the mother/rape).

12. I think he's deadlier than Bush
He may be a windsock to the corporate bastards and the hard right, but he's got something Bush doesn't have: a working brain. Unlike Bush I don't think he'll put himself in a bubble or be afraid of dropping people if its in his best interests. That makes him more dangerous than Bush or Reagan, cause he'll have better survivability. That and him being a governor makes it easier for him to distance himself from the mess that is Iraqistan.

15. He's More Like A Game Show Host
Always wheeling and dealing...while he controls the game, we all know the real control are the people behind the curtain.

I don't think Romney will slip under the radar the same way booooshie did since he doesn't bring a "base" with him, just money. Romney doesn't appear to have made many inroads with the fundies and the rabid wingnuts and i could see many sitting home next year or going to a third party rather than supporting any of the top tier candidates.

booooshie had everything rolled up before the first debate in '99. Besides the money, he had operatives inside various factions...along with a revved up GOOP base that barely lost the '00 election. Whomever plays in '08 goes in with a very depressed base and a revved up Democratic party.

I ain't afraid of no Mittens
