2. Since I was a teenager in the sixties . . .
. . . when somebody says "politician", my first reaction is usually "Wall Street lackey", but when somebody says "Republican", my first reaction is always "Wall Street lackey".

7. LOL... awesome.
And so true. People have a hard time figuring out why some DU'er's (myself included) are just as hard on the Dems as we are on the Repugs. It's almost worse because at least with the Republicans you know you are going to get fucked. With the Dems you have a slight chance at making some progress so when we do end up getting fucked it just pisses us off even more.

3. and the independents will vote for?
Ron Paul? Bernie Sanders? Joe Lieberman? surely you don't think they'll prefer the party of Mitch McConnell.

if Obama hits wall street hard enough (he won't: it's not possible to hit them as hard as they deserve) the "independents" will remember who tried to regulate, and who tried to obstruct. not who used a thief to catch a thief.

may, june, july, august, september, october. a long time, and the voters don't really wake up till labor day.

5. They went after him for protecting USA manufacturing jobs.
How many times have you heard Obama Motors! These same right wing fools said let the auto companies fail. Who cares how many people would lose their jobs.

Looks like General Motors is going to pay the tax payers back now with interest.

12. A lot .. I live in Michigan
And I heard idiots right here in Michigan talk about boycotting GM.
Great idea, morons. Let's close more factories, reduce sales (and sales taxes), kill the economy, throw more people out of work, and their homes, lower property values (and reduce property taxes) and then face massive cuts in state and local programs, including education.

14. I work for a company that makes bumpers for Detroit. My right-wing
co-workers still e-mail that picture of a little car with the heading OBAMA MOTORS.

1 year ago we were on the brink of closing down our company and President Obama saved our jobs. The only thing I can figure out is that my right wing co-workers are just painfully stupid!

8. The GOP does not want to do anything about the problem.
That is not popular at all.

13. They don't have to.
They just have to fan the anger and point it at the Dems.

9. So Republicans don't want to reform Wall Street and their hands are clean?
But Democrats want Wall Street reform to clean up the Republican mess.

So who is using their connections for personal benefit?
