" I'll See Your Ron Paul and Raise You a Gravel. Call" Who Wins?
Soliciting comments on the premise that both parties
take the protest vote in the primaries.

So in the General
it's
Paul vs Gravel

What Happens?

2. Anyone notice how they all agree with Gravel on changing the tax system?
:eyes:

No more "death tax" and no tax whatsoever on capital gains ... "flat" and "fair" and REGRESSIVE.

6. No capital gains tax
Did you believe that? I was incredulous. A "middle class" tax cut on dividends, interest and capital gains. Tax work, not leisure. Is that not absolutely upside down from what this country is supposed to be!! I just can't believe the audacity of these people.

9. What's even more incredible is that over 30% of the people would go with it.
The idea that income from one's own labor is taxed up to 35% but income from somebody ELSE'S labor wouldn't be taxed at all is just fucking OBSCENE!

Tax the slaves but leave the plantation owners be.

:grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr:

13. Exactly. Tax the slaves but leave the plantation owners be.
If you work for a living you should pay tax. If you don't work, but get paid anyway, then y9ou shouldn't pay tax.

I'm going to have to go look for different parents.

As Al Franken used to say, "the most productive members of our society, the children of the wealthy."

15. Paul is a better statesman.
Can get his point across more succinctly. He is definitely a smart man.

Actually, we would be better off w/both of these guys than w/shrubrepub & the prince of darkness!
