Well, I know we are all probably used to getting that standard spam stuff from Nigeria or Bongo Congo or some discreet dying wealthy person in Europe allegedly trying to dump their millions into your own bank account if you'd just send them your vital stats. . .or the emails that tell ya that you've been selected at random in the giant, humungous GB email lottery and are rich beyond your wildest dreams. . .but. . this was sitting in my email tonight and it really made me bust a gut. . :

Gosh, I'm not even a UK citizen...or even been there. But perhaps the Labour Party is so desperate in upcoming elections that they are randomly selecting poor people like me for "Poverty Alleviation?"
Or perhaps they discovered that I'm still paying off a hefty gall bladder/hernia surgery bill from last year (AFTER insurance) and realize that any Yank seeking medical attention is automatically added to the UK relief rolls?

Miliband's father was one of my favorite socialist academics -wrote a classic in the 70s called The State in Capitalist Society. David is a major disappointment, but I suspect that he will be Labor's next Prime Minister in a few years.
