What I Learned On The Radio Today...
I was driving around the greater Chicago area and for the first time in a long time dared to venture off the local Progressive Talk station and the college station that airs Free Speech Radio. What I found inbetween was your usual claptrap of the usual right wing suspects all ranting of how President Obama (of course they never call him President) is now bailing out every bank and that the Democrats are the "party of Wall Street"...that took a whole 30 seconds.

Then I came past a local "christian" station...a show hosted by a real "winner" named Sandy Rios. In the course of sitting through a stop light, I heard the following "facts"

1.) President Obama is surely a Muslim cause he admits he read the Koran, and you surely don't read the Koran unless you have other motives (guest on phone agrees)

2.) The Obama Admninistration has a program underway to plant "Muslims" inside the CIA, FBI and other sensitive agencies...the enemy within (guest on phone says "he is??" even he sounded stuneed)

3.) Valerie Jarret...President Obama's advisor spent her "formative" years living in Iran and this is being covered up by the "librul media".

Fortunately the light turned green and I pushed the buttons and fortunately found FSRN. So this is what a "christian teaching" station is teaching?

1. This fanatical talk is going to get someone killed
These people are anti-intellectual and don't believe in a rounded education. These very people are the drag on why America cannot progress into the future.

2. That fanatical talk has already killed people.
Dr. George Tiller is just one. The Oklahoma City Bombing victims are more.

5. No, it's just lying as usual
In most cases, lying isn't criminal. Unless they're urging people to take up arms and launch an attack, their speech is protected.

4. That is Chicago a pretty progressive place, just imagine
what is being aired in places like Mississippi, Alabama, Oklahoma and other conservative areas. I know here in Phoenix it is almost all these hate talkers with a lazy progressive station.
