Glenn Beck-Led Tea Baggers to commit Mass Suicide! Beck on suicide watch...
The Tea Baggers don't have much to live for any more. Banks which received bailout money have been paying back the money they received. The stock market has climbed almost 60% since Obama became president (to over 11,000). Now General Motors has repaid 8.4 billion dollars to the government five years ahead of schedule. It's one bad piece of news after another to people who wanted Obama, the country and Americans to fail.

What do Tea Bagging conservatives have to live for if our country repairs all the damage done to it by inept and corrupt conservatives for the eight years of Bush? Jim Jones led hundreds of easily duped people into the wilderness and ended up leading them into a mass suicide. Will the people in Beck's Tea Bagging Church end up doing the same thing?

BTW #1: I'm not advocating violence or ill will toward anyone. But I wonder, if the country keeps getting better because of democratic policies will tea baggers have a reason to exist or live? It doesn't look like it. Failure is Tea Bagger's idea of success.

BTW #2: A couple of months ago, Glenn Beck even told his audience to leave their churches if they found any sign they stood for 'social justice', but the Bible has 2,000 different references to 'social justice' in it so where does that leave those right wing 'Christians'. Oh yeah, and just the other day Beck told his 'followers' that God personally talked to him and gave him a message, and then just as he was about to tell his audience the message from God, Beck broke away from his program to go to an advertisement to sell gold from "GoldLine". According to Beck, it's okay to delay giving God's message to his followers by going to a commercial using fear to sell gold. I wonder if this will be a new capitalistic trend? Will right wing churches have commercials throughout their sermons? I can already see it. As a preacher is supposedly talking about 'God's word' from the Bible, he tells everyone in the congregation 'We'll continue after a word from our sponsor'.

BTW #3: How can anyone be a conservative? Are they all dimwitted, gullible fools?

1. The poor and the working class aren't doing any better
and it looks like they won't as long as either of the "Big Two" (= one) is in power. Conservative or Liberal, the working class will still get stepped on...

3. I don't mean to rain on you logic but...
Glen Beck will always do anything for more money so he won't quit until everyone finally TURNS HIM OFF!

And the Tea Baggers are mostly in it for the racism no matter how they try to deny it.

Prove it to yourself (I have done this several times and it always works) when you meet a person who either identifies themself as a "Tea Partyer" or "sees their point" tell them you are interested. Then mention Blacks and welfare or Hispanics and immigration/amnesty in a slightly critical way. Within minute they will start the racist talk. As soon as they feel you are one of them the poison flows.

It's like that old Eddie Murphy skit. When they think they are alone with "white friends" they sink to their lowest forms.

No amount of recovery will change Teabaggers'

5. "Walk Away", I know you're right, but there is some sarcasm in my post...
I realize racism the the glue that holds the tea baggers together. But they are similar to a religion, a 'religion' with its four main disciples being hatred, anger, racism and fear.

And you are right. No amount of recovery would ever change a tea bagger's mind. If the national debt was zero, if no one paid income tax and if Obama cured all diseases known to man they would still hate him.

4. You underestimate Beck
He's already promoting a global conspiracy involving President Obama, a secret plan for a GLOBAL Value-Added Tax, the IMF, and the U.N. Please don't ask me to try to explain Beck's thinking--my head already hurts!

6. Are they trying to take over the cemetaries
with sheer numbers? That would make them a true army of the dead.

I say we cheer them on!

7. "Obama, the Country and Americans" are already failing. Don't get mad at me, here's the statistics:
Edited on Thu Apr-22-10 12:16 AM by Political Heretic
I define this as failure of a moral, political, economic and social level:
http://practical-vision.blogspot.com/2009/03/we-are-losing-america-right-before-our.html

If my subject line angers you, then get Obama, Democrats, or any national politicians to start talking about the CRISIS of income inequality and declaring a national war on it, the CRISIS of poverty and declaring war on it, the CRISIS of our police state and declaring an end to it, and so on through the list of moral failings that are the statistical reality of our nation.

Until they do, they are failing all of us.

8. Heretic, your subject doesn't anger me. You are right, to a point...
I agree with the deep inequities throughout our society. I believe Obama should be more forceful and take the mandate he was given and SHOVE THROUGH every progressive idea 'we the real people' have been wanting for so long. I am tired of living in a corporate dominated society where there is a handful of superrich and the rest of us are living paycheck to paycheck. I noticed when I was 16 that those who produced the most got paid the least, while those who produced the least got paid the most. That hasn't gotten better with time, but rather worse, much worse. An illegal migrant worker who picks fruit and vegetables for one hour produces more than ALL of Wall Street does in their lifetimes. That farm worker actually produces something society needs to live, food. The people on Wall Street produce absolutely nothing. But while the farm worker gets pennies a day, Wall Street thugs get paid billions a year. That is immoral. We need to have a country built on real values, not the fake family values crap that spews from republicans. They are clueless because they are the biggest defenders of corporate domination over our country.

I worked for Ross Perot and Ralph Nader, who both would have rejected the status quo of corporate corruption condoned by both the republican and democratic parties. Obama could have become an instant leader if he had taken a blend of Perot and Nader ideas. But instead of rejecting the status quo, Obama choose Wall Street insiders to be his closest advisors. If I was Obama I would have picked a crusader against the rampant corruption in corporate America to combat the inequities in our country. Ralph Nader would have been a perfect selection, but Obama seemed to sell out in a lot of areas right away.

I support Obama and think he is doing an adequate job, and a wonderful job compared to Bush, but he could do so much more and I have no idea what is holding him back from doing what is right.

My OP is about Beck and the mindless zombies who follow him and lap up his every word. He is like the leader of a church of fools and they seem all too similar to Jim Jones and his gullible followers.
