1. OMG.....
Edited on Thu Apr-22-10 08:42 AM by Hepburn
....what bullshit.

Quote from the Petition: One of the reasons he believes he should be let free is...

"The following I have on good authority: When asked if the press would still be hearing from me, one of my attorneys, on national television, turned to the cameras with a disparaging look on his face, telling the press that he was sure I would be in contact with them; it was clear from the impression he mugged that he meant it in a disparaging way, as if to say I cannot control my own tongue to prevent myself from being a liability to the defense."

He thinks his defense atty "mugged" for the TV cameras so he should not be punished for the murder of Dr. Tiller.

:wow:

Edit for typo

2. Well, that just sent my blood pressure up a few hundred points! That egotist still thinks he's been
treated so unfairly even while admitting to his murder! Poor baby still thinks his 'defense of the unborn' is justification for his acts and that the courts should be forced to realize how 'right' he is and how wrong everybody else is.

5. Talk about not having Clue One...
...he is not even close to -Clue 1,000. The fucker actually thinks he is some kind of a hero and that he is being mistreated.

Unbelievable.

3. This fucker cannot understand plain English
The Associated Press has circulated a statement I made by telephone while in custody. The statement reads: "I know there are many other similar events planned around the country as long as abortion remains legal." Technically, that is just a statement of plausible fact that anyone could make, including, for example, the U.S. Marshal. But some have unfairly sought to use such statements against me as if they were incriminating (e.g., Judge Wilbert).

What part of "anything you say can, AND WILL be used against you in a court of law" doesn't this asshole get?

6. What part??? IMO, ALL of it.
He seems to think that he has some rights while incarcerated. Welcome to the REAL world, Asshole.

4. Roeder does NOT understand that what he did was real and has real
consequences. He thinks he will be released by means of some "old boy" legal trickery and will be hailed as a hero by all the "good" people (such as himself).
He will eventually get the idea that he will be in that prison or a worse one for the rest of his life, but it won't come easily for him.

The more he talks, the more he may reveal about those who helped him kill and others like him. I hope someone in law enforcement is paying some attention to what he says.

7. Good point, Mark...
...and I do hope you are totally correct. The more he talks, the more he may incriminate others. I certainly hope this happens before any more of this slime tries thinks they can become heroes like Roeder.

12. Sure he is - but LEGALLY he knew what he was doing, and he DOES know it was wrong...
he is probably sociopathic and certainly does belong where he is right now forever.

There are more than enough just like him on the streets right now.

13. Of course he knew what he was doing
He's crazy to the point of believing that his views of life and the world are the only correct views. After 50 years in prison he'll sort out his thinking.

14. Or not - but in 50 years, I will be 112, and I won't give a shit about what he thinks.
Probably not about much else, either

8. Too bad the courts can't write this:
Sorry, asswipe, but you don't get a ticker-tape parade down 5th Avenue for gunning down a man in cold blood. Suck on it.
