​Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio and Congressional candidate Vernon Parker will be hosting what could be seen as their own little slice of hell.

For the bargain price of $200, you could spend a full day trapped on a bus with Joe and Vernon, as you tour the scenic Arizona/Mexico border and discuss immigration.

Here are the details compliments of Parker's campaign:

At 8 a.m. Saturday, May 8th, a charter bus will take Arpaio, Parker and supporters from Phoenix to the border in Douglas, Arizona, where participants will get a chance to discuss border security and other issues surrounding national security with the Sheriff and Mayor Parker. Lunch will be served at Hotel Gadsden in Douglas and guest speakers will educate attendees about the border challenges.

If you think $200 for a bus ride with Joe Arpaio, where his pals will "educate" you on border challenges is a steal, get this: For just $800 more, you can reserve yourself a seat right next to America's self-proclaimed "toughest sheriff."

That's right, for a grand, you can spend an entire day trapped on a bus with the modern-day Bull Connor, and you can sit right next to him, too.

Now that's a ticket from hell.

2. I see Sheriff Joe as one who enforces the law...

not read between them or turn a blind eye to the law.... that is his job as Sheriff. My point without getting into an argument is that the law needs to be changed with immigration and County budget needs to be funding the Sheriff's Department better for housing, food etc services in Jail for improvements to be implemented. Look at the example of Prohibition, Elliott Ness for an example.....enforce the law until the law changes....funding, well, the FBI became well funded after Prohibition and the FBI need was acknowledged.

I'm being open minded...trying to look at both sides.
