One is a serial groper and the other an idiot who let his dick lead to being blackmailed.

One similarity: Both showed bad judgment in rather large amounts.

4. wasn't Massa like a 24/7 walking laugh gaff?

Massa left on his own then drew attention to himself on purpose in a string of highly quotable insanity. Where as Ensign circled the wagons and waited for the 24/7 news media to find easier stories. So I'm not sure if they compare. Massa seems more like the person trying to get Doctors paid in chickens.
