Saint John's Hospital Opens Egg Store |
|
Maplewood, MN, 4/22/10: Saint John's Hospital announced this morning the imminent opening of their Egg sales outlet in what used to be the hospital's outpatient clinic. Spokesperson, Heather Happyface, told reporters at a press conference today: "Well, since we converted the third floor of the west wing into living quarters for the chickens that our patients have been using as payment for services, we found that we now have a surplus of eggs. The new Tim Pawlenty Memorial Egg Store will let us make even more money than we were making by using the chickens to make pot pies for our patients."
When asked about the progress on converting the surgical unit into housing for goats, Ms. Happyface could not provide a completion date. She also had no comment regarding farm subsidies from the Federal Government.
