...5 years ahead of the original schedule."

commercial can be found on their site here:

http://www.gm.com

I was wondering if this was ever going to be newsworthy seeing as how it was yet another thing the Teabags denounced.

:woohoo:

1. Rush says buying a GM auto is a donation to Obama's next campaign...
Edited on Thu Apr-22-10 01:22 PM by JuniperLea
I guess he's advocating a GM boycott because Obama's plan worked... I'm sure all those American auto workers will be just thrilled to know they are now a pawn in the GOP's chess game... being played at their Mad Tea Party.

Edited to say... Way to go GM! Way to go Obama! USA! USA! USA!

15. Really he said that?
Cool. I know some folks who won' have any use for him if they heard him say such a thing. How many more listeners can he afford to offend? I hope we find out ... soon.

2. My experience with Teabaggers is that they will believe nothing
Really. I spent last weekend with relatives - liberals and teabaggers. There is no debate with teabaggers. They don't believe facts. Seriously. If facts don't support their views, they're not facts. Climate change was made up by Al Gore to make him rich. There is no tax break for middle America. And the stimulus and bailout are abject failures perpetrated by the Obama administration alone. So, newsworthy as GM's paying back the government is, there will be little resonance with teabaggers. Fox won't report it. They won't know about it. And if other people mention it, they won't believe it. That is their world. Closed up tight.

"Fox won't report it. They won't know about it."

This is the main reason for their stupidity! The only channel they watch is the one they think is "far and balanced"! Of course the truth is it's only fair and balanced because it fits their idiotic beliefs that they get from watching the morons on "FOX NEWS!

It's a no win situation with these people!

GM was rescued by the stock purchase... and the US gov't still owns ALL THAT stock.

Come back and wake me up when the stock has all been sold at a profit, yawn.

and look at GM's books, they're STILL losing money. Btw, the money to repay the loans didn't come from vehicle sales, it was bailout money, lol!
