I mean, they could be brothers, or at least cousins.

2. All the different religions are stories about the same people in the same place
along different points in time.

So yes, there is a reason they look alike. They are such beautiful people.

I just wish that the Israelis and Palestinians hell everyone over there would realize they are relatives and quit fighting.

10. How sad that none of these so called religious truth tellers can even take the word of "their God
or Gods" as the case may be seriously because if they did, they would have to admit to themselves that if God did indeed make "man" than that in itself should be proof beyond a reasonable doubt that we are all related regardless of the color of our skin and or birthplace and as such should treat eachother as good brothers should do...

It is just not the Israelis and Palestinians who need to realize this little quip from thier own bible stories...

17. AMEN AuntPatsy, You know what else. Why are people so upset about Jesus being a man.
To me that would be wonderful. Jesus was a good guy, great person and possibly a father. I think it would be cool to know that he was a regular guy who did such wonderful things to help people. I'm not talking miracles and stuff like that. I'm saying there are healers of touch...perhaps that trait exists today because healers back in the day had that ability.

Jesus was working and ensuring that people were fed, cared for, leading people to do right and not corrupt things. How wonderful would it be that a man did all those things for mankind back in the day. Perhaps if Jesus wasn't thought of as a god we'd have more wonderful people in our society today.

But a girl can only dream....

Ummm... that's why they ARE fighting.

None of them is saying, "Hey, let's go after the Chinese!"

3. Where'd you find this?
I'm surprised because ALL depictions of the prophet are forbidden, even complimentary ones.

Islam's prophet Muhammad ibn Abd Allah. Representations of the Prophet are well known from early on, but are not very common. While some Muslims hold beliefs that it is against Islam to make images of the Prophet, others have more relaxed attitudes, and among Shia Muslims, such pictures are common, and much liked.

9. If you've seen one prophet you've seen them all.
Personally, I think there is more similarity to Gilgamesh. But then I have NEVER seen a prophet firsthand.

11. Jayzus did not wear that foreigner eurogay guyliner mascara
how dare you!!!!!

He looks more like Freddy Mercury. :silly:

Yep - oddly the color blue would NEVER have been used in robes by the poor, for many reasons besides lack of access to blue cloth. At least not in that region. And Yeshua would have likely been pretty semitic looking, with curly brown hair, slightly coarser features than typically attributed and, uh, not very tall or commanding in his presence. Kind of squatty and wide actually, aligned with common skeletal characteristics of the time.

15. Kinda really stupid if you think about all the death and wars over
the same God. I'm sure by now if there really is a God, he/she/it/they moved on to another planet - humans proved to be too stupid to believe in anything but themselves.

23. Next you will say all religions have a flood myth
wait:think:

God truly has shed his grace on thee -- on this country. He's blessed us, and we better not blow it......Lest anyone try to convince you that God should be separated from the state, our founding fathers, they were believers. And George Washington, he saw faith in God as basic to life."
