Guy James calls this right we have to always call it Bush's war and occupation
Then when they throw it in our laps in 2009 they still own it. As it's as clear as day they will disown it in 09 and say we lost the war.

6. I second that motion!
It was never a war, it was an unprovoked invasion and occupation of a sovereign nation that did not threaten us, and now it is a bloody mess. Way to go, Georgie!

5. I think that's an excellent idea
because we know damn well they're going to try to pass this problem onto the next administration, and with the help of the RW media, they will try to make the American public forget about all of Bush's failings with this war, and pin the whole deadly farce on the next guy.

So yeah, let's take a page out of the Karl Rove playbook and frame this as "Bush's war". Keep drilling that into people's minds.
