Want to help me tell Jan Brewer to go fuck herself?

Donate to her Democratic competitor in November...Terry Goddard.

Boycotting Arizona is NOT going to help, getting the racists kicked out of office is the message people all over the country should be sending to Arizona.

Statement of Rodney Glassman on S.B. 1070

Press release from U.S. Senate candidate Rodney Glassman:

Glassman Response to S.B.1070
PHOENIX, Ariz. -- U.S. Senate candidate Rodney Glassman released the following response to the passage of S.B.1070:

"This legislation is a rash attempt to score political points. The federal government has failed to secure our border and that must change. John McCain has been in Washington for 28 years and while he has been on all sides of the issue, our immigration problem has gotten worse under his watch.

S.B.1070 is the type of legislation that undermines the trust between law enforcement and neighborhoods that so many have worked so long to achieve. It does nothing to secure the border or stop the violence in our border region. It does nothing to address the reasons so many cross our borders without going through legal channels. This bill is nothing more than an unfunded mandate that shifts the financial burden onto cities and towns already grappling with budget cuts."

5. This statement is the key
<snip>
John McCain has been in Washington for 28 years and while he has been on all sides of the issue, our immigration problem has gotten worse under his watch.
<snip>

The Dems should be going after McCain like no one's business. McCain's flip flop on not surporting immigration reform should cost him his seat.

8. There's no single magic bullet here. Beating the troglodytes involves
shaking their scaffolding hard. Money to Brewer's opponents is good. Grassroots activism in Arizona is good. Outraged letters to newspapers in tourist towns is good. National noise about boycotting Arizona is good

Shake the scaffolding. Knock out a few pins. Shake a few rats from their high nests. Experiment a bit to see what works, and learn from it

9. Thanks for the comment about the proposed boycotts
It was kinda making me feel sad. I mean that if we boycott businesses, I think that will do little to nothing in hurting them and actually hurting the rest of us who face a struggling economy at least here in Maricopa. And 13% or 14% unemployment. The Republicans of our state will likely still have jobs.

We need help and supporting these guys for office will go much further in getting rid of this law.
